Get Fit with Grolier Online!
With summer right around the corner, exercise and fitness once again take center stage. It makes perfect sense, then, that May has been officially designated as National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, a time to promote fitness as a habit among young people.
This month’s Brain Jam is built around Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia articles on topics such as exercise, aerobics, and sports. As your students and patrons read these articles, remind them to click on links to find additional and more-detailed treatments of related topics. And then, once they finish studying this Brain Jam ask your students or patrons to develop their own personal exercise program, and devise some strategies for implementing it.
